Unsurprisingly, given global availability of Jaguar Land Rover models and the COVID-19 pandemic, Tata Motors Group global wholesales in the first quarter of fiscal year 2020/21, including JLR, fell 64% year on year to 91,594.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo light truck range were 89% lower at 11,598 units.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q1 FY21 were off 49% to 79,996.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 65,425 vehicles (including 16,513 by the Chery JV in China) but Tata did not provide a comparison.
Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 17,971 vehicles while Land Rover wholesaled 47,454 vehicles.
