Cybersecurity specialist Datadog has become a Microsoft partner
The cloud company Datadog Inc. (DDOG), which offers services in data monitoring and protection, will become a Microsoft partner. This is not the company’s first collaboration with technology giants.
At the end of March 2022, Datadog announced it is a Microsoft partner within the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Microsoft’s solution for the successful migration of technological applications from legacy data centers to the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform. Note that earlier Datadog was already a Microsoft partner, and customers received access to Datadog products within the Azure platform.
However, the new integration into Azure is a serious confirmation of Datadog’s capabilities: according to Statista, the Azure platform is a leading provider of cloud services with a market share of about 22% in 2021. Besides Microsoft Azure, Datadog also cooperates with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
The company has established partnerships with three leading cloud service providers, whose share is in the cloud computing market by the end of 2021. It is 64%. The advantage of Datadog is an ever–growing set of monitoring and security solutions.
The company’s developments make it possible to detect and eliminate potential technological problems at an early stage, simplify the tasks of operating complex IT systems and ensure their smooth operation. Datadog’s large customers continue to show loyalty: the number of customers with an income of $1 million or more has doubled from 101 at the end of 2020 to 216 at the end of 2021.
The number of clients with an income of $100,000 or more increased by 63%: from, 1228 to 2010 over the same period. In 2021, Datadog’s revenue grew by 70% year-on-year. Datadog expects to maintain this momentum in 2022 with a revenue growth forecast of about 50%. We expect the targeted market to grow by 40% from $38 billion in 2021 to $53 billion in 2025.
