For the 1st quarter of 2021-2022 of the fiscal year, Nike’s net profit grew by 23%, to $ 1.9 billion

Sportswear manufacturer Nike in the first quarter of the 2021-2022 fiscal year ended August 31, increased its net profit in annual terms by 23% to $ 1.874 billion, according to the company’s financial statements.

Diluted earnings per share in the reporting period rose to $ 1.16 from $ 0.95 a year earlier. The company’s revenue rose 16% to $ 12.25 billion.

In Asia-Pacific and Latin America, revenues decreased by 33%, in China – increased by 11%, in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa – by 14%, in North America – by 15%.
