Keysight has presented a solution to one of the fundamental cybersecurity problems
The manufacturer of scientific and control and measuring equipment, Keysight Technologies, Inc. (KEYS), has presented a simulator for developers of cyber defense systems. Last week, the company introduced a comprehensive Keysight Cyber Training Simulator (KCTS) solution. It uses the capabilities of the existing cyber defense Keysight BreakingPoint to train and search for new approaches to data protection. It is a simulator that simulates real network traffic and allows you to acquire skills or design new tools in an environment close to accuracy.
The demand for specialists in the field of data protection is high, but training requires time and an exceptional approach to the control of acquired knowledge. Keysight expects to use the KCTS solution in universities and other institutions where relevant specialists are. To do this, Keysight has provided a simple integration with various learning tools and university learning process management systems. The KCTS system is capable of simulating actual attacks, including DDoS and the introduction of malicious software.
Keysight plans to update the simulator regularly, adding the latest types of cyber attacks so that trainees can maintain their current level of skills. Keysight believes its development will be in demand since the damage from cyber-attacks often depends on how quickly the threat was detected and eliminated. Keysight already has a large set of tools for analytics, IT system testing, prototype testing, cloud services, etc. Keysight’s annual revenue in 2021 approached $5 billion. KEYS stock has lost 8% to $143.59 over the past 12 months at the auction on July 15. The market capitalization was $24.93 billion.
