NCR Corporation has increased margins and profits, ending a record year

NCR Corporation (NCR) has published a report on the fourth quarter and the whole of 2021. The company has significantly improved profitability and expects strong positive dynamics to continue this year. According to the results of the entire 2021, NCR Corporation increased revenue by 15% year-on-year to $7.16 billion. In addition, free cash flow reached $460 million, GAAP earnings per diluted share amounted to $0.58. 

Successful for the company in terms of increased demand increasing profits. Moreover, according to the NCR management, many growth factors remain in 2022. NCR also announced the study of available “strategic alternatives” that can increase the company’s shareholder value. 

Perhaps we are talking about acquisitions with the potential for long-term growth. In 2022, NCR expects revenue growth of 12-15% year-on-year to $8—$8.2 billion and an increase in profit by 27-39% to $3.25-$3.55. Free cash flow in the range of $500-$600 million. One of the main drivers of NCR remains the segment of solutions for the banking sector. 

Sales in this segment increased by 40% in the fourth quarter due to the integration of the ATM and information kiosk operator Cardtronics business and increased revenue from software, services, and equipment for retail points of sale of financial services. In addition, in the solutions segment for hotels and similar establishments, NCR revenue increased by 27%. Overall, all major NCR segments have shown steady double-digit revenue growth over the past year.
