The prototype of the innovative robot car, which lacks a steering wheel and pedals, was unveiled by Chinese tech company Baidu at its “Baidu World 2021” conference on Wednesday, according to China Daily.
“Chinese company Baidu unveiled its first autonomous, steering wheel-less Level 5 autonomous robot car on Wednesday, as well as an upgraded service platform for autonomous driving called Luobo Kuaipao,” the publication said.

The car lacks a steering wheel and pedals but has a sizeable intelligent display—the vehicle with voice and face recognition and advanced artificial intelligence technology. In addition, the car has gull-wing doors and an all-glass roof.
The Chinese company Baidu operates one of the world’s largest Internet search platforms.
