Yext search service to become a Tripadvisor partner
Search query optimization service Yext Inc. (YEXT) will become a partner of the Tripadvisor travel platform. Now hotels cooperating with the medium can get into search results more often and become more “visible” to potential customers. Last week, Yext announced the availability of new features for hotel brands using Tripadvisor integration.The updated integration now supports more than 40 fields to fill in and allows hotel owners to add available options for recreation, food, parking, etc.
The ability to manage such complete lists on Tripadvisor is currently unique to Yext. As a rule, lists with more comprehensive and optimized profiles receive 52% more clicks than those with fewer fields. Thus, Tripadvisor partner hotels will have an advantage over competitors, as they will appear more often in search lists with full details. Yext software improves the accuracy of search queries and manages other data; for example, it monitors the relevance of information about the list of services, work schedules, and location on online maps, voice assistants, etc.
The platform uses artificial intelligence to collect and systematize business information and provide it as responses to customers, employees, and partners. Among the partners of Yext are such prominent companies as Google, Amazon Alexa, Apple Maps, Facebook, and many others. In addition, the company cooperates with Verizon, Subway, Marriott, and the US State Department. The added support for hotel—specific attributes on Tripadvisor is a new initiative within the framework of innovations that make Yext one of the leaders in the field of information management.
